This single malt from the Scottish Speyside was distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2026 after 31 years of maturation. The First Fill Pedro Ximénez Sherry Hogshead defines its profile with dark fruit notes and spicy accents. The single cask bottling from cask #15 comprises 347 bottles and has an alcohol content of 50.6% ABV. It contains no added coloring and was not chill-filtered.
Fruit, sweetness, and mature oak spice
- Nose: Raisins and ripe plums meet dark syrup. Vanilla and caramel complement the bouquet.
- Palate: Dried figs, honey, and brown sugar combine with a velvety mouthfeel and a full body.
- Finish: Oak spice and dark chocolate define the long finish, which presents itself as mature and dry.
The non-smoky Linkwood can be enjoyed neat at room temperature to explore its fruit and spice notes.
