The guys in Andalusian Padul are doing a damn good job - and have been for 20 years: with two hand-forged (!) copper pot stills from Granada, good grain from the region, the clearest meltwater from the Sierra Nevada and production based entirely on the Scottish model - crowned by a complete maturation of the distillate in used BOTA GORDAS. yep These are the casks that whiskey makers around the world lick their fingers for: up to 600-700 liter oak monsters in which sherry was stored for 20 to 30 years. The bottom line is: everyone wants them, but these beauties haven't left Spain for decades! At LÌBER, these former PX Sherry Casks are first filled (!) and then their magic unfolds! The special storage conditions at the foot of the Sierra Nevada do the rest to make the maturing whiskey something special - the right dram for all lovers of sherry bombs, color buyers ... or simply friends of good whiskey, wherever it may come from!
