This special bottling matured in three different types of casks: ex-bourbon casks, quarter casks and finally in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, which give it a complex depth and sweet sherry notes. With an alcohol content of 48% ABV, this whisky offers a powerful combination of smoke, spice and fruity sweetness. Bottled exclusively for the travel retail market, the Laphroaig PX Cask is a must for lovers of intense Islay whiskies.
