Laphroaig Cask Strength Batch 15
The only thing that separates you from the uncompromising character of the most powerful cask strength whiskey is the cork. Laphroaig 10 Cask Strength is the purest way to taste the earth, sea and sea air of wild Islay. After a decade of cask aging, the spirit is removed and barrier filtered to remove unwanted charcoal particles. The single malt is then bottled at pure cask strength.
Tasting Notes
Nose: The nuanced bouquet reveals hints of sweet grain, fresh oak and pipe tobacco with hints of leather, nutmeg and vanilla.
Palate: The Original Cask Strength is sweet and tangy with notes of vanilla, toffee and sea salt as well as hints of cinnamon and pepper.
Finish: Long finish with lingering spice, oak tannin, iodine and sea salt.
