Lagavulin Distillers Edition 1991-2007

The Lagavulin Distillers Edition 1991–2007 is a special bottling from the renowned Islay distillery Lagavulin . This single malt was distilled in 1991 and matured until 2007, during which time it was refined with an additional finish in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks . The result is an intensely smoky whisky with an elegant sweetness and deep, complex aromas . Notes of peat smoke, dark chocolate , and dried fruit unfold on the nose . On the palate, it is full-bodied with spicy , sweet nuances and a long, warming finish. At 43% ABV, it is perfectly balanced— a highlight for connoisseurs and lovers of smoky whiskies.
