Kilchoman 14 Year Old Family Collection
This 14-year-old bottling from the Kilchoman Family Collection was made entirely from barley grown at Rockside Farm. The barley was grown on Islay, malted at Kilchoman, and peated to a phenol content of 20 ppm. The single malt was distilled in 2011.
The whisky spent its entire maturation period in ex-Bourbon casks before being bottled at 50.9% ABV. No coloring or chill-filtration was used. With its own barley, complete production on Islay, and fourteen years of Bourbon cask maturation, this edition particularly emphasizes Kilchoman's 100% Islay concept.
