Kavalan LÁN
The Kavalan LÁN is an exquisite single malt whisky from Taiwan that reflects the floral beauty of its homeland Yilan—'LÁN' means 'orchid' in Chinese. This whisky matures in a combination of bourbon, port and STR wine casks, giving it a complex aroma profile. Seductive notes of orchids, roses, jasmine, peonies and orange blossoms unfold on the nose, accompanied by creamy vanilla, chocolate, caramel and cantaloupe melon. On the palate, it is refreshingly floral with fruity undertones that combine harmoniously with creamy and chocolatey nuances. The long-lasting finish is characterized by nutty and cinnamon wood notes. With an alcohol content of 43% vol., the Kavalan LÁN offers an elegant and complex taste experience for discerning connoisseurs.
