This limited edition Johnnie Walker Blue Label for Lunar New Year 2024 combines the well-known Blue Label blend with a collector's bottle by artist James Jean. The design interprets the Wood Dragon as a symbol of vitality, creativity, and optimism for the future, transferring this imagery to the iconic Blue Label bottle and packaging.
The whisky itself is based on Johnnie Walker Blue Label: a Blended Scotch made from particularly rare whiskies from Johnnie Walker's reserves, including, according to the manufacturer, casks from long-closed "Ghost Distilleries". Aromatically, fine waves of pepper and spices, along with hazelnut, citrus, vanilla sweetness, and honey, come together on the palate. The finish is long, luxurious, and smoky.
