The Jean-Luc Pasquet Le Cognac de Paul Lot L57 is an impressive example of the fine art of cognac production. This Single Cask Cognac comes from Grande Champagne and was distilled from the Ugni Blanc grape variety. The special thing about this cognac is its long aging period of around 65 to 66 years, during which it was stored in a single barrel. This long maturation period has given it an exceptionally complex and multi-layered flavor profile.
The barrel in which the Jean-Luc Pasquet Le Cognac de Paul Lot L57 was stored comes from the still of Paul Gaillard, a well-known cognac producer who ran the family business for three generations. This barrel was chosen by Paul's granddaughter Carole to honor her grandfather. The cognac was bottled at cask strength with an alcohol content of 42.3%.
