Jean-Luc Pasquet 42 years
The Jean-Luc Pasquet 42 years is an exceptional cognac produced in a family business. This unique spirit treasure was made from Fins Bois grapes and, after more than 40 years of maturation in French oak, was transferred to a freshly emptied C<>H Hampden Cask. The result is a remarkable single cask with an unprecedented dynamic between ester and rancio notes, reaching a new level of taste.
Although the experimental Eau de Vie de Vin renounces its legal status as a cognac, it is in fact a regional brandy, aged in French Limousin and Tronçais oak barrels or in casks pre-aged with grape products such as wine, sherry or port. However, it is the Hampden cask that gives the Jean-Luc Pasquet 42 Years its unique aroma and flavor.
