Description
The Jack Daniel’s McLaren HALO MK1 is a strictly limited collaboration between the Jack Daniel Distillery and the McLaren Formula 1 Team. The specially engineered presentation takes inspiration from the HALO structure of a Formula 1 race car, combining McLaren-inspired materials such as metal alloy, microfiber, and carbon-fiber look with a hand-finished cork and custom medallions.
The Tennessee Whiskey is based on a mash bill of 80% corn, 8% rye, and 12% malted barley. After distillation in Lynchburg, it is filtered through a layer of sugar maple charcoal about three meters deep and aged in new American white oak barrels, whose staves were air-dried for an exceptionally long time. The HALO MK1 is bottled at a robust 58.7% ABV.
On the nose, sweet maple, fruit, and toasted oak meet. On the palate, the whiskey begins with caramel and chocolate before pipe tobacco and baking spices emerge. The powerful, long finish combines warm barrel spice with brown sugar sweetness.
The original black packaging is included.
