Description
RISKY RED is the red interpretation of the Second Spirit range from the Terra Preta Huppert winery in Gundersheim. After fermentation, the red wine is placed for a short time in a barrel that previously held whisky. The charred interior of the wood imparts extra spice and the characteristic influence of the pre-used barrel without completely masking the wine.
Compared to the RISKY Riesling, this bottling presents itself as darker, rounder, and warmer. Dark fruit combines with spice, smoke, and toasted wood. With 0.4 g/l residual sugar and a mild acidity of 5.5 g/l, the red wine remains dry while feeling pleasantly soft. Sales designation: aromatized wine-based drink. Contains sulfites.
