The High West Campfire Whiskey is a unique experience. It all started with a breakfast on the Scottish island of Islay , where High West Distillery owner and founder David Perkins was served a combination of sugar, peat whiskey and melon syrup. In the United States, for example, Perkins combined the sweet bourbon flavors typical of Lawrenceburg with smoky peated malts from the island of Islay and a hint of spicy rye whiskey. This original blend with an alcohol content of 46% has created a flavor profile that is second to none! High West Campfire is a must for any whiskey connoisseur.
Founded in Wanship, Utah, High West Distillery is the first legal distillery since 1870. The 30,000 square foot facility is not only a world-class distillery, but also an educational center and restaurant. The passion that goes into making High West's distinctive and flavorful whiskeys has helped their whiskeys be loved across 49 states and beyond.
