Glenturret Ovation: Peat Smoke and Sherry Cask Maturation
The Glenturret Ovation is a twelve-year-old Highland Single Malt from Perthshire in Scotland. Peated barley malt forms the foundation of its smoky profile. Maturation in European oak sherry casks complements this character with fruit and spice. This edition is intended exclusively for the German market.
Nose and Palate
- Nose: Fresh citrus notes accompany sweet hints of toffee apples and dried fruits.
- Palate: Sherry-accented fruitiness combines with restrained smoke and mild spice notes.
- Finish: Long-lasting, with an interplay of fruit, smoke, and spice.
Bottling and Enjoyment
Bottled at 47.0% ABV, the Ovation is presented in a 0.7-liter bottle without artificial coloring and without chill-filtration. A gift box is included. We recommend enjoying it neat to get to know it; the interplay of aromas can be further explored with a few drops of water.
