Speyside Single Malt mit Mizunara-Finish
Japanische Mizunara-Eiche prägt die abschließende Reifung dieses 17 Jahre alten Glentauchers. Der Single Malt aus der Speyside wurde 2008 destilliert und 2026 innerhalb der Serie The Octave abgefüllt. Kleine Octave-Fässer bieten dem Whisky im Verhältnis zu seinem Volumen eine größere Kontaktfläche zum Holz.
Die Einzelfassabfüllung aus Fass #8552086 umfasst 77 Flaschen und entstand zum 50-jährigen Jubiläum von Kirsch Import. Mit 53,5% vol. kommt der Whisky ohne Kühlfiltrierung und ohne zugesetzten Farbstoff in die Flasche.
Frucht, Süße und würzige Holznoten
- Duft: Helle, reife Früchte treffen auf Honig, Malz und Vanille. Sandelholz und Kokos ergänzen das fruchtig-süße Profil.
- Geschmack: Ein weiches, rundes Mundgefühl begleitet Toffee und Trockenfrüchte. Ingwer und Zedernholz setzen würzige Akzente.
- Nachklang: Lang anhaltend mit holziger Würze und einer dezenten Räucherwerknote.
