This Glenrothes spent an impressive 30 years in a first-fill Oloroso sherry cask before being bottled at natural cask strength by Andrew Symington for the exclusive Symington's Choice series. The intense color, characterized by the high-quality casks, promises rich sherry notes, accompanied by complex fruit aromas and delicate spice.
The single cask yielded only 499 bottles, which were bottled at 54.4% ABV – naturally without chill filtration and without coloring. A true rarity that delights both whisky experts and discerning connoisseurs, proudly bearing the Symington's Choice label.
