Glenmorangie Extremely Rare
A stunning release from Glenmorangie aged in American oak barrels. Some of this whiskey spends its final three years in Spanish Oloroso casks to give it fantastic weight and complexity. Like all Glenmorangies, this whiskey has a smooth and sophisticated mouthfeel with some distinct tropical fruit flavors giving it a nice lift.
Tasting notes
Nose: Rich, rounded and sweet with dried fruits and a complex floral scent.
Palate: The taste is balanced between honey, malt and floral scents. Dates and figs appear in the background with a hint of wood smoke.
