Glenglassaugh Sandend

Glenglassaugh Sandend is a single malt Scotch whisky with an alcohol content of 50.5% ABV and a bottle size of 0.7 liters. Named after the crescent-shaped Sandend Bay, near which the Glenglassaugh Distillery is located, it reflects the maritime surroundings. The whisky matured in a combination of bourbon, sherry, and manzanilla casks, resulting in a complex flavor profile. The aroma showcases soft buttery vanilla ice cream with tropical fruits, chocolate, and a hint of sea salt. The palate unfolds waves of salted caramel, accompanied by tangy notes of pineapple, cherry, and grapefruit, underscored by maritime influences.
