Glenglassaugh 5 Years Single Cask
The Glenglassaugh 5 years is an exquisite single malt whisky from the renowned Glenglassaugh distillery in the Highlands of Scotland. This exclusive bottling was distilled by Claxton's in their 1st Fill PX Sherry Hogshead cask type and filled into the cask on April 30, 2018. After five years of maturation, this exceptional whisky was finally bottled on July 10, 2023 to capture the aromas and nuances of the cask in a fascinating way.
With an impressive cask strength of 57.7%, the Glenglassaugh 5 years is a powerful and intense whisky that enchants all the senses. The special highlight of this single cask bottling, however, is undoubtedly the unique taste, which is characterized by the cask type 1st Fill PX Sherry Hogshead. Here, aromas of sweet raisins, chocolate, caramel and dark berries combine to create a harmonious taste experience.
