The Glenfarclas 1990/2022 The Family Casks is an impressive single cask bottling from the Highland region of Scotland. It was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2022 at cask strength of 51.3%. The sherry butt cask (cask number 5125) gave it its rich color and aromas of dried fruit, spice and dark chocolate. These notes are omnipresent when enjoying the single malt whiskey and result in a wonderfully complex taste.
Each of the 543 0.7 liter bottles of The Family Casks (Release S22) series single cask bottling is brewed without the addition of coloring and without chill filtration to preserve the integrity of the beverage. Also worth mentioning is the fact that this particular bottling is part of a family tradition that has been nurtured for six generations. The House of Glenfarclas is proud to continue this tradition and introduce this wonderful single cask bottling as part of its The Family Casks series.
