The Glendronach 30 Year Old is a rare Highland single malt, masterfully matured in Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, and select Amontillado sherry casks, showcasing the distillery's unmistakable sherry cask expertise. After three decades of careful maturation, this bottling reveals layers of rich, aromatic complexity, harmoniously balanced by Master Blender Rachel Barrie. Bottled at 46.8% ABV and retaining its natural cask color, it offers a smooth, enveloping mouthfeel and a long, seductive finish.
On the nose, aromas of sour cherry, raisins, spiced toffee with Brazil nuts, marzipan, and Medjool date caramel unfold. The palate reveals notes of candied cherries, sultana cake, cinnamon-raisin-nut toffee, and chocolate-hazelnut café crème. A pinnacle of GlenDronach craftsmanship, this 30-year-old whisky is a masterpiece of sherry cask maturation and a prime example of Highland whisky excellence.
