GlenAllachie 2011 Ruby Port Pipe
The Ruby Port Pipe 2011/2022 symbolizes the complex and fruity diversity of The GlenAllachie. The Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whiskey rested in the barrel of the same name for more than 11 years. Port wine of the Ruby type is stored in wooden barrels for a comparatively short time. It retains its fruity, sweet profile with notes of berries and cherries, which also left delicious traces in The GlenAllachie's single cask.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Full of ripe berries and intense cherries, followed by heather honey, caramelized pine nuts and roasted coffee beans.
Palate: Full-bodied with heather honey, caramelized apples, black fruit and hints of cherry as well as tart-sweet red velvet cake and cinnamon.
