Glen Ord with Oloroso Sherry influence
This 16-year-old Glen Ord from the Scottish Highlands is part of the Cask Strength Collection. Distilled in 2009, it was bottled in 2026 at a cask strength of 57.0% ABV. The 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Butt maturation defines its character with dried fruits, nutty notes, and oak spice.
Aroma and Taste
- Aroma: Dates and raisins are at the forefront. Their ripe, concentrated fruit notes reflect the Oloroso influence.
- Taste: Walnuts and robust oak spice are added to the distinct sherry note.
- Finish: Dark chocolate provides bittersweet accents in the long, dry finish. Nutty oak tones remain.
This non-peated whisky is bottled without coloring and without chill filtration. The 0.7-liter bottle is offered in a metal tin.
