Glen Garioch 15 Year Old Sherry Cask
To be honest, Glen Garioch always values quality over quantity when it comes to their 15-year-old whisky. Rather than conjuring up a new batch out of nowhere, the distillery only selects casks that are at the pinnacle of perfection. This special bottling of Glen Garioch was matured in the best Oloroso sherry casks.
Tasting Notes:
Freshly baked and buttered hot cross buns, with notes of sultanas, cinnamon and mixed citrus zest, layered on warm batter with sweet apricot and honey gloss. The flavor is rich and full-bodied with raisin brioche, icing and nutmeg-spiced orange peel, leading to a lingering finish of raisins, dates and warm buttered toast.
