Foxes Bow Whiskey Release 1 is a classic, no-nonsense blended Irish whiskey - matured in bourbon casks and finished in oloroso and rye casks - a highly novel blend of finishes in Irish whiskey, resulting in a complex yet balanced whiskey. The incorporation of rye casks into the whiskey's finish, typically favored by American and Canadian whiskeys, adds a floral bouquet to the whiskey's nose and adds an interesting lingering zest to the palette. Starting with a burst of fruity sherry flavors, followed by a surge of spice and finished with a lingering, velvety vanilla sweetness. Release 1 has no added coloring and is not chill filtered. This whiskey is characterized by a natural, rich amber color with no added caramel coloring.

Tasting Notes
