This single malt comes from the Edradour Distillery, one of the smallest and most charming distilleries in Scotland, located in the picturesque Highlands. The distillery is known for its craftsmanship and the attention to detail that goes into every bottle. The Edradour SFTC 2013/2024 matured for ten years in a first-class sherry butt, which gave it its characteristic fullness and complexity.
- Aroma: A lush symphony of dried fruits, dark chocolate and spicy oak notes unfolds on the nose. A hint of leather and tobacco rounds off the bouquet.
- Taste: The palate reveals a powerful and complex structure. Notes of raisins, figs and dates mix with nuances of nuts and a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg. The high alcohol strength gives the whisky additional body and depth.
- Finish: The finish is long and warming, characterized by sweet sherry notes, velvety oak and a subtle hint of smoke.
