Charakter und Herstellung

Selten lässt sich der Einfluss einer erstklassigen Fassreifung so direkt im Glas ablesen wie bei diesem Highland Single Malt, der über ein Jahrzehnt in französischer Eiche ruhen durfte. Ein Bukett aus roten Früchten und feiner Würze Das Profil wird maßgeblich durch die Vorbelegung der Weinfässer geprägt, die dem Destillat Noten von delikaten roten Früchten und getrockneten Kirschen verleihen. Wichtige Eckdaten: 12 Jahre, destilliert 08.2013, abgefüllt 04.2026, 46,0% Vol.

Einordnung

Da auf Kühlfiltrierung verzichtet wurde, bewahrt der blassgoldene Whisky seine volle Textur und ein besonders intensives, öliges Mundgefühl.
