Experience the 2023 edition of Deanston Virgin Oak Cask Strength, where traditional bourbon casks are followed by fine American virgin oak casks for 9 to 12 months. This single malt whisky is bottled at cask strength, with no chill filtration or additional colour.
The Deanston Distillery was built within the walls of an old cotton mill, preserving its 19th century charm. After closing in the mid-1980s, production resumed in 1991.
Deanston Distillery is not only known for their single malt whisky, but also for their sustainable practices. They use energy efficient methods to reduce their carbon footprint and are one of the first distilleries in Scotland to be 100% self-sufficient in electricity production. They also place a strong emphasis on community involvement, offering tours and events that showcase the history and process of making their award-winning whiskies.
