Deanston Distillery, once a cotton mill, uses only locally grown Scottish barley and is rarely examined from an independent perspective. Together with The Single Malts of Scotland (Elixir Distillers), we now offer an exclusive look inside the distillery, founded in 1965.
The Deanston 16 yo embodies authentic Highland enjoyment in its purest form. Bottled at cask strength of 53.4% ABV from a bourbon barrel, it delights with classic, warm aromas of vanilla and oak, complemented by honey sweetness, malt, fresh fruit notes of apple and citrus peel, and a hint of caramel pastry.
