Delicious Dalmore bottled by Darkness! Yes, it is a Darkness independent bottling of single malt Scotch whiskey from Dalmore Distillery finished in Oloroso Sherry Octave Casks. Dalmore is known to do very well in a variety of sherry casks, so we're expecting great things from this whiskey here.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Apple compote, fresh ginger, lots of dried fruit notes with a pinch of cinnamon.
Palate: Subtly peppery malt, with waves of chocolatey sweetness and jammy sultanas. Also a hint of liquorice.
Finish: Still wonderfully chocolaty, with a hint of coffee.
