The Dalmore 20 Year Old 1990/2010 Old Malt Cask is an outstanding Highland single malt whisky presented by the independent bottler Douglas Laing as part of their renowned Old Malt Cask series. Distilled in 1990 and bottled in April 2010, this whisky was initially matured in a refill butt and then finished in an Amontillado sherry cask. Bottled at natural cask strength 50% ABV, without chill filtration and without the addition of coloring, ensuring a pure tasting experience.
On the nose, the Dalmore 20 Year Old 1990/2010 unfolds a complex bouquet of sweet sherry notes, accompanied by aromas of dried fruit, spices, and a hint of oak. On the palate, it presents itself full-bodied and balanced with notes of dark chocolate, nuts, and a pleasant spiciness that blend harmoniously with the natural sweetness of the sherry finish. The finish is long and warming, with an elegant balance between fruitiness and spice.
