The Craigellachie 1999-2022 Exceptional Cask 55% is an exquisite single malt Scotch whisky that was bottled after careful 23 years of maturation. This special drop, with an alcohol content of 55%, is offered in limited edition and comes from the renowned Craigellachie Distillery , located in the heart of Scottish Speyside.
The maturation in specially selected casks gives this whisky a deep and rich aromatic profile. It is characterized by intense notes of dried fruit and toffee, accompanied by the typical sulphur note that often characterizes Craigellachie whiskies. On the palate it is powerful and complex, with a balanced mix of sweet, fruity and spicy elements, followed by a subtle smokiness.
The finish is long, warm and spicy, with vanilla and dark chocolate finishing. This Craigellachie Exceptional Cask is an outstanding example of the distillery's craftsmanship and offers a unique and memorable tasting experience for connoisseurs and collectors.
