This Craigellachie was distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2026 as a single cask release at 61.7% Vol. Its maturation in a 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Cask shapes its powerful, sherry-driven character.
Aromatic Profile
Dark fruits, orange zest, and cocoa define the aroma. On the palate, dark chocolate and toffee combine with warm baking spices, roasted walnuts, and a robust, mineral note. The oily texture leads to a long, spicy-tart finish.
Neat, the whisky reveals its concentrated structure. A few drops of water can further open up the complex sherry notes.
