Cask Maturation and Origin
The Art of Selection: 16 Years in First Fill Bourbon Barrels This Speyside classic comes from the Craigellachie Distillery and was distilled in 2009. The expertise of independent bottler Signatory Vintage is evident in the decision for continuous maturation in first fill Bourbon barrels, which give the spirit its characteristic structure and aromatic density. It is best enjoyed neat at room temperature to fully appreciate the complexity of its 16 years of maturation.
Aromatics
On the palate, the single malt unfolds its full, creamy texture, with notes of baked apple and liquid caramel taking center stage. The finish is remarkably long-lasting, leaving a lasting impression of sweet honey and an elegant vanilla note, which harmoniously rounds off the artisanal quality of the malted barley.
