Craigellachie 13 Year Old Bas-Armagnac Barrels
This Craigellachie Speyside Single Malt Whisky gets its distinctive character from a finishing period in select Armagnac casks from the Bas-Armagnac region. Prior to this, the whisky matured for 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels before being bottled unfiltered at a higher strength of 46.0% ABV. The result is a golden-yellow whisky that delights with aromas of pineapple, cinnamon, and baked apples.
Craigellachie is unpeated and comes from the Speyside region, offered as an original bottling directly from the distillery. Matured for a total of 13 years and without chill filtration, it retains its natural character.
