Caol Ila 32 years
This Islay Single Malt Scotch Whiskey from Caol Ila was filled into the cask in 1990 and was allowed to mature in American white oak for a full 32 years. With a straightforward 51.5% vol. It was bottled at cask strength in June 2022. The result: "A rich, smoky Caol Ila at its peak, this is a sweet and smoky treat from start to finish with its fresh, clean flavors and creamy texture adding to the enjoyment," notes whiskey author Charles MacLean, who already had the opportunity to taste the precious drop.
