The Caol Ila 25 Years, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail as part of the renowned Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength series, is an outstanding example of the art of Scottish single malt whisky . This fine bottling dates from 1998 and was bottled on March 11, 2024 in a limited edition of just 532 bottles. The whisky has an alcohol content of 56.7% and was distilled from a carefully selected 1st fill sherry butt, which gives it a complex and profound aroma.

In the Islay region, known for its characteristic smoky whiskies, this Caol Ila combines the typical smoky notes with a seductive sweetness. The nose is characterized by impressive aromas reminiscent of chocolate and fresh raspberries. These fruity and chocolatey facets harmonize perfectly with the smoke, creating a fascinating taste.
