The Caol Ila 10 Year Old, which was produced near the coast, is a single malt whiskey from the Islay region of Scotland. The bottling comes from the renowned Caol Ila distillery and is part of the Small Batch Edition #4. The whiskey was distilled in 2013 and matured for 10 years in Oloroso Sherry Casks.
The maritime character of the whiskey was harmonized in a unique way by barrel blending with nutty-fruity notes from the Oloroso Sherry Cask. With an alcohol content of 48.2%, this bottling represents a perfect balance between flavors and strength.
