The Cambus vintage 1989, a 34-year-old Lowland Single Cask Grain Whiskey that comes from a former sherry cask, is a spectacular bottling that delights connoisseurs and collectors alike. The Cambus distillery closed in 1993, making this whiskey even more desirable.
The taste is as impressive as the aroma, here you will find an explosive pepperiness, which is accompanied by a strong sweetness, toffee and vanilla bean. The brown sugar melds with blackcurrant jam, while hints of plum and wax add the necessary complexity. An intensive spice mixture, dried black tea, coated peanuts and clear oak spices with elderflower jelly make the taste experience perfect.
