Bushmills 30 Year PX Sherry Casks
The 30 year old Bushmills is a masterfully matured whiskey that has been stored and refined in carefully selected oak casks. It was matured in bourbon casks and sherry butts over a period of 14 years before being stored in Pedro Ximénez casks for a further 16 years, giving it its incomparable taste. Pedro Ximénez is a category of spirits made from the grapes of the grape variety of the same name and is only produced in certain regions of Spain.
This means that every single sherry cask is highly coveted, making the 30-year-old Bushmills a true gem of whiskey art. The long maturation process gives it an aroma of dried fruits, which is accompanied by a balanced sweetness.
