Bunnahabhain 8 years The Octave

The Bunnahabhain 8 Years is a single malt whiskey that comes from the Scottish region of Islay . It was distilled in 2014 and, after a barrel maturation process in oak barrels and subsequent refinement in so-called Octave barrels, bottled in 2023. This single barrel bottling impresses with an alcohol content of 52.3% and a limited number of bottles of just 82 bottles.

The refinement in the Octave barrel, which is particularly small with a volume of only 1/8 of a standard barrel, ensures an intensive flavor development and gives the Bunnahabhain 8 Years an extraordinary aroma. The barrel number 3838983 is another indication of the high quality and individuality of this whiskey.
