Bunnahabhain 18 Year Old Small Batch Distilled
By renaming the whiskey and bottling it at a higher strength without filtration, Bunnahabhain has gone from a popular whiskey to a serious competitor for many connoisseurs. The 18 year old packs quite a punch due to its low peat content, what really stands out are some glorious sherry cask flavors and a hearty/meaty/salty character.
Tasting Notes
Palate: Intensely warming; with dried fruit, sherry, toffee and spices lead to a rich honeyed nut note and a hint of sea salt.
