A single malt from Bowmore Distillery bottled independently as part of the Darkness range after 18 years of aging - including a time in octave casks of Moscatel Sherry! With familiar peat notes alongside the mesmerizing sweetness of Moscatel, this expression is impressive indeed. If you're an Islay enthusiast, we reckon you'll want to grab a bottle.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Sea breeze, toasted almonds, hints of meaty malt.
Palate: Salted lemons, sultanas, earthy smoke and hints of aged leather.
Finish: Cocoa, sea notes and a little tobacco.
