It is the subtle nuances and the artisanal aesthetic that immediately catch the eye with this single malt. On the palate, the single malt presents a creamy texture that elegantly interweaves notes of melted toffee, honey, and dates. The Black Cannon distillery is at the heart of this bottling.

Cask Maturation and Origin

The addition of colorants was consistently avoided to present the pure power of cask aging authentically and to preserve the original character of the malted barley. For lovers of sherry cask maturations who appreciate the interplay of sweetness and spicy depth, this dram is an excellent choice.

Aroma

A play of dried fruits and velvety spice. On the nose, a complex bouquet of ripe plums, brown sugar, and a fine pinch of cinnamon unfolds on a base of vanilla cream. The finish remains present for a long time and says goodbye with nuances of candied ginger and sweet licorice, embedded in dry oak wood.
