With "Richard", London's Bimber Distillery continues its "Shoulders of Giants" series. The edition, created exclusively for the German market, honors significant personalities whose ideas and works have had an impact far beyond their own time. This bottling is dedicated to Richard Wagner, who profoundly shaped the world of opera with his complex harmonies and powerful musical storytelling.
Fitting this expressive theme, the English single malt received additional maturation in a single Pedro Ximénez sherry cask. Single Cask #855/63 was bottled in 2026 at a robust 58.7% Vol. – without coloring and without chill-filtration.
Thus, "Richard" combines the artisanal whisky production of Bimber Distillery with the special influence of a single PX sherry cask. A limited original bottling from London and an independent component of the musically inspired "Shoulders of Giants" series.
