Description
With Contrasts: Unpeated, Benromach shows a deliberately smoke-free side of its Speyside style. The 12-year-old single malt matured entirely in first-fill sherry casks and was bottled at 46.0% vol. Toasted hazelnuts and fruitcake combine with a hint of marzip on the nose; ripe oak and sultanas emerge on the finish. Non-chill filtered and with no added colouring, this bottling offers an expressive counterpart to the subtly smoky character of the regular Benromach range.
