Ben Nevis 27 Years 1999/2026 Sherry Cask The Whisky Jury
This Ben Nevis was distilled in January 1999 and matured entirely in a sherry cask. After 27 years, The Whisky Jury bottled the single cask #51 in May 2026 at 47.5% vol. The long cask maturation and full maturation in the sherry cask are clearly the focus of this bottling.
The single malt was neither colored nor chill-filtered, thus preserving its natural character. As a single cask bottling from the 1999 vintage, it combines a high age with the individual character of a single sherry cask.
