Badachro Storm Strength Gin
Originally created for cocktails, it's becoming increasingly popular for making a flavorful and "turbocharged" Gin & Tonic! Also fantastic in a Negroni or a Gin Martini.
57% ABV is the traditional "naval strength" benchmark, dating back to the days when sailors tested their rum and gin rations were not watered down by pouring part of the ration onto a small pile of gunpowder and lighting it . When the wet gunpowder was burning, the spirit was 57% ABV or higher, but when it wasn't... someone was "on it"!
And as if by fate, Badachro Distillery is located near latitude 57°N.
