Ardnamurchan AD
The taste of the Ardnamurchan AD from the west Highlands in Scotland is simply unique. The single malt whiskey was made from peated and unpeated malt and matured in sherry and bourbon casks. So he acquired a special complexity. This distinctive malt is bottled at 46.8% ABV, ambient filtered and colourant free.
Each sip evokes notes of toasted marshmallows mingling with beach flavors, orange oil, with sea salt, while earthy, smoldering oak delivers hints of peat. All complemented by flavors of dark chocolate and salted popcorn - all flowing together in an infinitely satisfying finish!
The young Ardnamurchan distillery focuses primarily on sustainability and renewable energies. It obtains energy from a mix of hydroelectric power and biomass. The wood for the biomass boiler comes from the neighboring Ardnamurchan forest. In this way, it reduces the CO2 footprint and protects nature at the same time. She also uses the Glenmore River spring water for the production of her whisky. Ardnamurchan therefore focuses on sustainable moments of pleasure with our premium quality!
