Distilled in 2010 and matured for 13 years in 1st fill Oloroso sherry butts, this whiskey is characterized by a spicy smokiness and dark fruity sherry sweetness.
The Ardmore distillery is known for its use of peat malt, which gives the whiskey a smoky note. This smoky component is combined with the sherry influence to create a harmonious flavor profile with a pleasant balance between sweetness and spice.
